Dr Paul Ballam-Cross is a composer and classical guitarist. He has completed a Bachelor of Music in Performance majoring in classical guitar, and has studied privately with both Karin and Isolde Schaupp.

Paul has completed a Doctor of Philosophy, discussing counterpoint and performance on the guitar. His research interests include transcriptions for guitar, as well as the intersections between popular music and the internet.

Paul is a regular reviewer for Limelight Magazine, and a casual lecturer at the University of Queensland.
